Johns Hopkinsの感染症科より、Erica Johnson先生においで頂きました。Hopkinsの先生方による感染症のteachingが続いていますが、今回のshort talkのtopicは、Latent TB infection、Endocarditis、HIV (primary care of HIV patient or acute retroviral syndrome)、Fungal infections、Case series in tropical diseases等をお願いしました。また症例検討講演会では"A case of a recurrent infection in a 42 year old male peritoneal dialysis patient"という症例を皆で検討しました。感染症の先生は大勢いらっしゃいますが、それぞれの持ち味を活かしたご指導を頂き、毎回勉強になっています。
